Episode 106: Not So Much About Ice Levels

As the title correctly puts it, this episode is not so much about ice levels. Although Bryan the Host claims the opposite, his Disembodied pals are too busy singing, playing video games, and being in a coma to listen. That topic is left out in the cold for some honest discussion about things that Stephen shouldn't like but does-- Battlefield 4 and Tomb Raiders-- along with Cameron's mild infatuation with Tearaway. The Final Fantasy and Metal Gear franchises also get a thorough talking-to, bogged down delightfully with numbered sequels and incomprehensible storylines. As for Bryan, he's been asking for Papers, Please as he struggles to support his family, morals warring with money in a monotonous game of empathetic intrigue. Two History Times and bunch of silly jokes round this adventure out to be the best one since Episode 105. Opening song: Funky Bits by Yoann Turpin.

Coma song: Lament of a Stranger by Kan R Gao.

Ending song: Holiday Frappe, originally from Mario Kart 64 and ReMixed by Tweex.

Episode 105: From Accordion Guy to Zombie Shroom

Mario is in the hearts and minds of the DV Cast this week, as are his many friends and enemies. Especially the enemies, but that comes later. You see, Stephen and Bryan have been playing oodles of Super Mario 3D World, a game tells the tail of King Koopa Meow-ser as he hatches the purr-fect plan to cat-ure Princess Peach and whisk 'er away. As for the Wii-U-less Cameron, he's been enduring the Samsara Cheese Wheel of Eternity in his arch-nemesis Dark Souls between long bouts of StarCraft Talk with baneling basher Bryan. History Time looks back on Mario memories, fond and finicky alike, before It's-a Who? takes the world by storm with its quiz-like horrors. If this podcast were a piece of scenery, it would have little cartoon eyes like in the Mushroom Kingdom. It's just that lively. Opening song: Funky Bits by Yoann Turpin.

Ending song: Slide from Super Mario 64.

Episode 103: #theDVcast #Sony #livetweetFTW

That PlayStation 4 video game console device is out on the market, but since the only DV Cast member who owns one is out sick, the others decide to talk about every other Sony product instead. It doesn't take long for Stephen to starting saying dumb statements about Crash Bandicoot the Wombat during History Time and sullying the original PlayStation's good name in the process, which turns Cameron Kratos-red with anger. Level-headed Bryan manages to stay above the Sony All-Stars Battle Royale with his commanding presence as Person Who Talks the Most, which is a fitting title during StarCraft Talk. An exciting gambit of video games can also found in this podcast, including World of Warcraft, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which-- combined with livetweets-- should bring in the mainstream media like never before. Good times roll like heads from the God of War's wrath, so feel free to Crash the party! Opening song: Funky Bits by Yoann Turpin.

Ending song: Hogging Molly, originally from Crash Bandicoot and ReMixed by Brandon Strader and Rexy.
