S3 E10: The King Of Amine

When asked what this particular episode was about, this was Zachary's exact reply:

"In this episode, Zach, Abigail and Bryan sabotage Ben's game for the second time. Also, Zach is the new King of Anime."

Sounds like another amazing episode of the Whales are Whales Pod-Cast!

S3 E9: Whales are Zachary and Bryan

Zachary and Bryan may have enjoyed marital bliss, but does that mean they're up to the task of performing a live, improvised history of Whales are Whales itself? We answer this question, and at least one more in this week's rip-roaring and roar-ripping episode of the Whales are Whales Pod-cast.

Also, we suggest the answer is: "probably not".

S3 E8: Breaking the Hyrules

Hello? Who's that on the phone? Oh goodness, it's Mr. Nintendo, and he demands that we discuss his newest Nintendo Switch game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! Good thing our resident computer game experts Cameron and Zachary are ready to SPOIL EVERYTHING RUN AWAY PRESERVE YOUR CHILDLIKE JOY. Speaking of childlike joy, these two fellows also recount their misadventures at a boarding school in Kentucky (strictly on Oneida-know basis). There's also some Whale Mail, but that's kind of hard to fit into this elegant, flowing Pod-Cast description.

Spoilers begin 24:00 and end 44:55, so like those dead skeletons from Pirates of the Caribbean in that one scene where Jack Sparrows sails into port and salutes them by taking off his hat, ye be warned.

S3 E7: Smash That Like Button

Stephen, Bryan, and Cameron are having a quarter-life crisis, so they appeal to the youth with a fresh, on fleek intro designed to be both fresh and on fleek. To further engage their online community of savvy youngsters, they reply to burning questions via Whale Mail, which includes a shout out to their viral social media presence on Discord. Lastly, they alienate anyone who ever thought they were even accidentally cool with a Storytime sessions that continues the adventures of Bryan in the Vacuum Cleaner Universe, sending the entire group into fits of unconstrained chortles. S3 E6: Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher $

Because What's Up With the Whales was too useful and positive for a show this dysfunctional, Bryan decides to debut What's Down With the Whales, a spotlight on the latest depressing goings-on. Tim can't make friends, Zachary can't meet women, and Stephen can't do either-- AND he broke his dang bicycle! But don't worry, it all has a happy ending, unlike the nail-biting cliffhanger of this week's Storytime. This is one episode you'll want to tell your friends about, even if you can't pronounce it!

S3 E5: The Return of Petey the Postbox

The following description of this Pod-Cast episode was generated using quotes from actual Whales are Whales members recalling actual facts:

Zachary: Whale of a Tale or Real Seal was fun, and Whale Mail has a theme song. Also, 30 minutes of boring cybersecurity talk because Bryan brings boring topics

Cameron: I honestly and factually cannot remember a single thing about that episode.

S3 E4: *Spins in a circle* OW!

How fast can Cameron eat a Happy Meal? What do things sound like in Abigail's closet? Does Zachary have a middle name? This is a just a sample platter of of intriguing questions posed in Season 3: Episode 4, followed by main course statements such as "Hearthaholics is back" and "Stephen is indistinguishable from pop legend Michael Jackson." There are even a few sentence fragments. For your enjoyment.

S3 E3: The Meandering Episode

Cameron's hosting, Stephen's setting off fire alarms, Ben's hiding under his bed, and they're all off script. Because nothing else was properly written down for this episode, here's a list of things that were discussed:

  • New year's resolutions and the aftermath thereof
  • The joy, the grace, the beauty of the MacBook Air
  • Childhood moralities concerning video games
  • The most dangerous risk of all: the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet that you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later
  • Fear itself

S3 E2: Self Improvement for Other Selves

Brand new Whales are Whales show Suteki Jam  hosted by the mysterious and legally "ehhhhhhh?" Medium Well has 2017 off to a rip-roaring start. This has inspired the Whales are Whales crew to dream up a whole mess of new year's resolutions. For each other. Like you do.

Also, Stephen didn't edit the What's Up With the Whales bumper. That was totally Abigail.

S3 E1: The 2016 Lookback Thingy

2016. It means a lot things to a lot of people. So it only seems proper to have a lot of people say a lot of things about 2016! The Whales are Whales crew rides the ups and downs of the year as if it were a roller coaster designed by a focus group of upset criminals, but through the loop-de-loops of despair they glimpse the distant corn dog stand of personal growth. Join Stephen, Bryan, Cameron, Zachary, Abigail, and Ben as they remember the past and welcome the future! The present also has something to do with it.

Season 2, Episode Cameron and Abigail

It's not Christmastime anymore, but it's also not yet Season 3 of the Whales are Whales Pod-Cast. Confused? So are Cameron and Abgail, the heroes trapped between realities in a desperate fight to find meaning in this void we call Season 2, Episode Cameron and Abigail. They also have a nice little conversation. How quaint!

Season Christmas, Episode Christmas

This episode is all about the spirit of Christmas, and as we all know, nothing is more Christmas than penguins. But that's jumping the gun. Speaking of guns, that's what Cameron got for Christmas! Stephen, Bryan, and Zachary also received lovely material gifts for the yearly yuletide exchange, but the true spirit of Christmas (directly subordinate to penguins) is inviting friends into your home, which partially explains the surprise appearance of Tim, a visiting German fellow from Bridging the Barrier. This episode is even longer than that run-on sentence, so find a cozy seat by the fire to hear all about Christmas food, Christmas presents, and Christmas stories about Christmas penguins. It's Season Christmas, Episode Christmas!

There's nothing quite like Christmas! It's a time to be around friends, members, and family. Until they abandon you and you end up talking about anime instead.

Spotty T is back (sort of) as crack team and former lovers Bryan and Zachary combine forces to chat about a Christmas-themed anime whose name Bryan consistently cannot recall. But that's okay, because there's really nothing about this episode worth remembering anyway!

S2 E37: The Bounce-Back Episode!

Though war and strife has ravaged the Whales are Whales Pod....Casters in recent times, hope is not all lost! We take this week to bounce back from the oddness of last week. Though we may be under the rule of a gender fluid pineapple... Life seems to still go on :)

S2 E36: Civil War and Peace

The Whales are Whales Civil War has been raging in the collective subconscious for months now, building enmity like a cobbler builds cobbles. Now that the entire group has assembled, Ben presents a legal (?) case of twists and turns to pave the way for a better tomorrow. More confusing than the Marvel motion picture that shares its namesake, the Civil War boils down to the age old question of humanity:

Should we continue fighting or just kind of stop?

S2 E35: Positivity! (Probably...)

It's week four of Ben's absence from the pod-cast, and the effects are being felt panel-wide. After multiple weeks of segments falling apart at the seams, Ben attempts to make a very detailed set of show notes... which are promptly ignored. Or heavily revised, at least. But as we all know, the Pod-cast is at its best with a minimal direction and loads of character! Which is our preferred term for incompetence and chaos. It's more polite.

Also... we got our first fan art submission! Thanks, Tim!

S2 E33: Edutainment

Have you wondered to yourself: "Gosh, Cameron and Bryan are such intelligent, well-learned lads; how'd they come by all that head-thinking they're so snazzy at?"

WELL GOOD NEWS

In this, the latest episode of the Whales are Whales Pod-cast, Bryan and Cameron speak at length about their educational origins, and at short about how stoopid everyone else is for not attending the recording.
