Episode 130: ZE3LDA (Cameron named this episode)

Ahoy, web surfers! Come closer, come closer, stay a while and listen. Disembodied Voices is not dead after all (oh snap, plot twist!) and there is all manner of wonderful thingies to talk about. For example, do you remember E3 2014? That crowded social gathering with all the moving pictures? The DV Cast has lots to say about it, particular concerning The Legend of Zelda Wii U. And old Bryan, you remember that wild man, right? He's still Ragnarosing it up in Hearthstone and his loyal brother Stephen-- the guy who makes the bad jokes, you know?-- has become his pupil in training. Oh goodness, and then there's the infamous Cameron Nutter, a gentleman who needs no introduction but got one anyway because it's fun to mess with him. He's stealing stuff as usual, but it least this time his criminal antics are being kept within Battlefield: Hardline. Finally there's Zachary, back again performing for you, and Transistor gets a critical appraisal that kind of sums up every conversation this podcast has had about the game so far. Yes indeed, here in the suburban burg of Disembodied Voices you will find fun; not the musical group, but the emotional concept. Direct link to the episode yaaaaaaay!

Episode 84: E3 2013 feat. Sonic R

That special time of year, bursting with excitement and merriment, has finally arrived once more, and it's not Christmas nor Bryan playing Scrolls. E3 is the topic this week, along with the bountiful bevy of video games shown at its many conferences and pseudo-conferences. Although the lack of Cameron means an unfortunate dearth in hyperbolic statements, the rest of the DV Cast do their best to recap all their surging emotions on the newsiest episode of Disembodied Voices you'll find all year. Zachary nearly chokes on his own derision when the concept of free-to-play Killer Instinct appears, Bryan makes a lot of super funny puns, and Stephen reveals that his favorite person in the world is Charles Martinet. Other stuff happens, too.

Episode 65: No Tacos in Assassin's Creed 3

Hello, listeners, and welcome to the 65th episode of Disembodied Voices, the podcast that always talks about video games because why not? Stephen is the only one who doesn't feel the Need for Speed this week and clearly isn't the Most Wanted host, but he still has a couple of ridiculous stories from the explosive world of Just Cause 2. If you're still pining for more open-world shenanigans, Cameron has a pretty good story about how he killed five tigers using only a bow and Molotov cocktail thanks to Far Cry 3. On a less violent note, Nintendo Land is way better than it should be, and it is talked about with joyful wonder and wonderful joy. The Wii U itself also gets a mash-up discussion of simple reactionary thoughts and critical analysis. Oh, anda  Dishonored vs. Thief: Deadly Shadows discussion turns into a coup staged by the power-hungry Bryan. It's a crazy episode, folks. Episode 64: Jim

When Disembodied Voices calls your name, don't turn away. Face your fate and embrace your destiny. In this particular episode of your destiny, Stephen is nowhere to be found, and since he's the one who writes these descriptions, whatever went on during this week's podcast is a mystery. Bryan, Cameron, and Zachary probably talked about cool things like Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Assassin's Creed III, and-- of course-- the Wii U in all its grandness. Also, a weird dude named Jim shows up at some point. That alone should provide a convincing reason to check out Disembodied Voices Episode 64. Episode 5: E3 2011 and What We Thought About It

What do you get when you cross electronics, entertainment, expos, and four guys talking into microphones? Episode 5 of Disembodied Voices, of course! (Clever joke, right there.) We take the whole trio of Es to task in this bout of E3-centered podcasting as we glower at Kinect, overstate Sony's arrogance, and kind of scratch our heads in confusion concerning the Wii U. We even got the Russian mafia involved this time, so come on and download Disembodied Voices Episode 5. Or, even better, subscribe on iTunes!
