Episode 26: The Mysterious Mr. Yellypants

Disembodied Voices is back! If that introduction didn't wake you up like an abrupt punch in the gut, what if you were told that Stephen, Bryan, and Cameron are all talking about video games? But it's not all sunshine and kidney shots. Due to a mudslide of technical and scheduling problems (the equivalent of half a dozen punches in the gut), a dedicated Game of the Year podcast was a bust. All the same, the winners are announced one after the other, followed up with a loud siren. The Dreamcast Game of the Month makes an appearance in the form of Shenmue, everyone's favorite way to play Space Harrier and least favorite way to round corners. Anticipated games of 2012 shoot us into a future in which Bryan loves Reality Fighters above all else. Haphazard stabs at summarizing games in five words have a certain stupid charm to them, and the whole podcast is wrapped up with some wise words from Stephen (a first). Don't be a fool! Download Disembodied Voices Episode 26 before something terrible happens!

Episode 23: If Bryan Bakes a Pie, Don't Eat It

The Voices are back yet again, and still Disembodied as ever! Cameron provides some spoiler-free information on Skyward Sword, Stephen reminds everyone that he enjoys Devil May Cry 4, and Bryan gains a new nickname straight from aqua vertebrate slang. The Dreamcast Game of the Month is lame this week, but a downright fascinating discussion about Skyrim's lasting impact makes up for that nicely. Another edition of Games to End All Games focuses on the Mario series, which (d)evolves into a complex debate concerning the objective and subjective greatest titles (2D and 3D counted separately, mind you) in the series. In his heart, Cameron picked Modern Warfare. Rounded out with a short but confusing list of new releases, you're left with a, quite frankly, superb podcast of joyful magic. Episode 18: Peter Molyneux is Dumb

It's podcasting time with Stephen, Bryan, and Zachary! GameFly's new Unlimited PC Play Beta is discussed along with the Dreamcast Game of the Month, Typing of the Dead. A weirdly deep journey through the nature of innovation, originality, and perhaps the human spirit itself comes next, followed by another episode of Because We're Smarter Than Developers. Rounding the show out is the mysterious Kentuckian, back again from his underground bomb shelter to inform everyone about Batman: The Beverly Hillbillies. Episode 13: Defender of the Sea

Zachary and Cameron are back to join Stephen and Bryan, and there is great rejoicing! The entire podcast has been revamped and streamlined to offer you a brand new sound while still retaining that smooth, tolerantly acrid taste. Join the DV cast as they guide you through Games They've Been Playing as of Late, most likely freak you out with Dreamast Game of the Month, introdue you to the Weekly Query, invent five word game summaries during the Rotating Segment, and keep you up to date with the reent releases via Zahary's unmatched speaking skills. It's a whole new world out there just waiting to be discovered, so hurry! Go download Disembodied Voices Episode 13 before you grow cobwebs and die of old age! Episode 10: A Decade of Episodes, From a Certain Point of View

This monumental installment marks the 10th Anniversary (regarding episode count rather than actual years) of Disembodied Voices, and you won't believe your ears as the entire cast gathers to celebrate. Stephen, Bryan, Zachary, and Cameron contrast shoot-em-up addiction to high platformer tolerance, the distinctly bizarre Dreamcast Game of the Month is elaborated upon, and a brand new segment-- Summarize a Game in Five Words-- ensues hilarity. To miss out on downloading Disembodied Voices Episode 10, you'd have to be a madman with poor taste! [audio http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24480952/Disembodied%20Voices%20-%20Episode%2010.mp3]
